Lena Philipsson
Lena Philipsson has been a prominent artist for 35 years. She broke through with the song Kärleken är evig in 1986 and has since released 14 studio albums, performed numerous stage shows under her own name, written songs for other artists, won Melodifestivalen, acted, and worked as a TV host.
In 2020, she released her thirteenth solo album, Maria Magdalena. In 2021, she was awarded the Litteris et Artibus medal by the King of Sweden for outstanding artistic contributions to Swedish music. In the spring of 2022, she embarked on a highly anticipated concert hall tour—the same year she made her literary debut with the autobiography I händelse av min död and was one of the featured summer hosts on Sommar i P1. In 2023, she launched two of her own wines at Systembolaget.
