Occrasy

Some bands take years to find their sound, their identity, their drive. But for Occrasy, a band from Dalarna, it’s been more of a meteoric rise—month by month, things have just taken off. Everything feels fresh, charged with volcanic energy, ready to erupt at any moment. The influences are clear—The Hives, The Hellacopters, Viagra Boys—but there’s also a kind of unpredictable chemistry that sparks when Occrasy writes songs. Raw, direct, and instantly catchy. Straight to the point, no fuss, just right.

A little over a year ago, the band was just getting started, five friends hanging out in Borlänge, playing Mando Diao covers in a basement to kill time. Now, Occrasy is armed with a stack of furious rock songs and shaping up to be a frontrunner in the new wave of chaotic, sweaty, unfiltered guitar music sweeping across the country.
