Jesper Welander (SWE)

Jesper Welander is a Stockholm-based music producer and songwriter at Playground Music Publishing. 


Jesper has previously produced Ken Ring's albums Akustiken and XXV. The singles have sold gold, platinum, double platinum and triple platinum. “Själen av en vän”, which was the first single from the album Akustiken has been nominated for several awards and has been played over 20 million times on Spotify and other digital platforms.

Jesper also writes songs for Melodifestivalen, a popular annual music competition in Sweden where various artists compete to represent the country in the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2018 the song “Allting Som Vi Sa”, performed by Swedish artist Ida Reding, which he co-wrote and produced took part in the competition.

Jesper is looking for new assignments and his ambition is to collaborate with established Scandinavian and international artists in pop, dance and urban pop and is also looking for assignments to compose music for advertising as well as TV, film, games and trailers.
